Perspective: Linear and Atmospheric

Essential Questions

1. Why can there be more than one vanishing point in a painting or drawing?  Is there any limit to how many there can be? 
   
2. How does sfumato help to make a painting or drawing seem more realistic or naturalistic?
   
3. With the discovery of linear perspective to what end have we progressed artistically?
